I’ll sit in my bed
And pray to god
That it will all be ok someday
I won’t live my passion
I won’t do what I do
Won’t speak up for what’s right
And that’ll be ok for you
As long as my cheeks are rosy
As long as my hair is curled
As long as you can get some tonight
And I may be crying
I may not be listening
But as long as I’m glistening
If my make-up is put
On just right
Make sure to add a bit of fake charm
And I may be bleeding inside
