Lost in a Dream
away from the meadow,
as the sun starts to rise
a bush full of roses is covered in vines
those roses have thorns
made of hard stone
like crystals with rainbows
that sparkle and glow.
Two young lovers sit on a log
away from the meadow
as the moon starts to rise they watch lunar sparkles
dance across the grass
mesmerizing, they fall, as time starts to pass
The lovers are frozen, an element in time
becoming aged, and covered in grime
but the words are long gone, not etched in stone.
