Life Cycle of a Fly
A rush of sound and color,
Some things I don’t understand.
Friends who where close and cool,
And now have grown apart.
Why is it like this in Middle School?
Drugs, drama, and
More stereotypes.
If you fall people just walk by.
Still so much more has changed,
I thought things would be better,
When I went to senior high.
What happened to the days where,
You could sit around with a blanket and hot cocoa,
Watch a movie or two?
Be with your friends,
Have some fun.
But finally,
On me it’s dawned.
That all those years,
Won’t come back,
They’re gone.
But hey that’s life.
