Grandma's Roses
Roses lost their color
so has she
young at heart
yet so old
time runs out
blood runs cold
wishes to save her
attempts fall through
sorrow filled eyes
voice so soft
Life's great lie.
Roses lost their color
so has she
remembering how we used to play
those days like her...
now old and gray.
roses lost their color
so has she
God don't take her away from
me
I know its not like me to beg
but please don't take her away yet
I wont be able to bare the pain
without her everyday will remain the same...
Gray.
Roses lost their color
so has she
she'll always be
superwoman
to me
beyond her life
I just cant see
don't let my world
fall yet again
I don't have the strength
to rebuild it
Roses have lost their color
so has she.
