The conditions were right for what was about to come,
Huge break outs of storms,
Possibly one of the busiest days for storm chasers,
As well as the scariest days for people that were in the path of the storms.
Killing a lot and leaving millions homeless,
It was a day that everyone would remember.
What was it?
It was the May 3,1999 tornado,
Size was an F5
It was one of the scariest storms of the last decade as well as destroying the most property.
This storm killed 40 people in Oklahoma,
Injured 675 people, and caused $1.2 billion in damage.
Those who survived are lucky to still be alive.
