my dedication
If you’ve ever lost faith in me
Or perhaps I’ve become too much
Then I hope you’ll have the strength to see
That I’d be lost without your touch
This isn’t meant for who you think it’s for
This is a dedication for someone who means so much more
Every minute has become a little colder
I’m starting to miss the face over my shoulder
You’re a little confused in approaching me
Truth is, I’ve changed the person who I used to be
I’m a little bit more loud, and a little bit more tough
I still have heart in me, but I’ve realized it’s not enough
And in the midst of this
I could feel the grip of our distance
I could hear the tense in your voice
And leaving becoming your only choice
