The Tree Who Wished To Dance
Leafy arms raised skyward,
The stars falling downward.
He dreams of swaying in the breeze,
Of dancing with the trees.
The sights that surround him,
Suprise him, astound him.
The stars falling toward him;
Twirling and spinning for him.
He feels his uprooting,
He sees the stars shooting,
The sensation of floating-of being so free.
But he awakes to find that he is still only a tree.
