Happy Birthday, dear child.
You didn’t live long.
I held you in my arms
And then you were gone.
Conceived in perfection
An angel you were.
For my hearts sadness,
Your kiss was the cure.
In that brief moment,
I witnessed perfection!
You, my baby love,
Were an instant addiction.
But fled your spirit,
And back your eyes rolled.
There was no pulse,
And your body went cold.
I couldn’t believe,
My one token of him,
Was taken away
And now life seems grim.
For there is no father,
And there is no child.
There’s only me now,
And I’ve been beguiled.
Happy Birthday, dear child,
You didn’t live long.
I held you in my arms,
And then you were gone.

Wow. I dont know if this was a true story or not but it brought tears to my eyes. I have a son and I dont know what I would do if I had ever lost him. If this did happen to you, I am so sorry for your loss.
