i take a sip of my coffee
leaving a thick red lipstick map on its rim
sticky and wet
like sex and blood.
how did we get to this point?
i'm smearing words into
the shadows of my collar bones
where you can see them
if you kiss me there, hot breath
on cold skin
making us steam.
until we evaporate all together.
