The Dress
Miami's scent flew around in the hotel halls,
Tropical air, a warm embrace recalls.
Sun's touch left a tender burn to find,
Mom's advice, a swim, in the ocean's bind.
In my white dress, I took this chance,
Ocean's embrace, it was a final dance.

Dear Teen Ink
Please consider my poem “The Dress” for publication. I am a high-school student of East- West School of International Studies. I enjoy creating mini poems that represent situations from my life. Aside from school I work at a dental office as a costumer service. My hobbies are makeup and drawing. Thank you so much for considering my submission; I welcome your feedback.
Sincerely,
Ekaterina Z.
