My eyes are blue. Not in the way the sea is blue though. Mine have dulled down, become a bit bland. My dad’s eyes are a sort of blue-green, but leaning to the blue side. His are a bit brighter, filled with more color. Eyes show a lot about people. Some have sharper shaped eyes, some softer. Some eyes have colors that are a little different. Some people’s eyes shine like a light, while others are an inescapable void. My dad’s eyes give a sense of comfort, they show warmth. My eyes are less so, they seem cold and unforgiving sometimes. Despite this, we still share the same eyes when we find something exciting.
