Drowning in your sea of lies
Clouded by a loving guise
Too good for me you did proclaim
I’ll leave you if it’s all the same
You didn’t win try as you might
You lost your wings while still in flight
So innocent and sweet you seemed
Better than I ever dreamed
I caught you and you pushed me down
Falling, lonely towards the ground
Remember this next time you fall
I’ll catch you once , but that is all.
