Storm Of life

In the storm of life,
When things go right,
Life comes,
It show's you it's bad side!

As the wind blows,
And ice pleats you,
And rain frezzes you,
You rethink life!

Without shoes on your feet,
A shirt on your back,
Or a jacket to protect you,
You feel it like a smack!

Then the rain thins,
Then wind dies down,
The ice goes away,
You see a new day.

You're beat by the storm,
Worn by the rain,
You look at life,
Sayin' "I'm not the same."

You came out a new man,
A new girl,
A new person,
Just from the storm of life.

It's just the way it is,
Life is ***,
Life is good,
Just wait for the storm to pass.

The author's comments:
Ummm.... I wrote this because right now my girlfriends life is being f***ed u by her mother.
I wish I was just able to hold her.
But this popped in my head when I was talking to her last night trying to calm her down. I really want to hold. She live so far from me. I love her. Well I guess I'm ranting on.
