The words repeat
Yet no abscission
Again and again,
It’s become my addiction
When broken, I hear it
It’s become my distraction
When life is attacking me
It’s there to back me
It echoes
When I’m at my low
I take the blows
The echoes distract me
To happiness it is my key
Lost in thought I think
When I’m on the brink
I listen
