Holes
In many of us is a hole. "I was reading the Bible and singing the lyrics, but I wasn't experiencing the full joy of knowing the Lord. I realized I wasn't fully letting Jesus be in the driver seat of my life." One of my friends have told me. "I was worshipping, but I wasn't having the powerful worship I longed for. I was stuck in sort of black-and-white Christianity, whereas I wasnted colors and excitedment. And God definately proved... This previous weekend has been one of the most powerful weekends of my life." She realized what many of us never notice. We've been going through the motions and acting the way we should. But what is action, without love behind it? One of my friends is questioning me about God and I never knew how to say what he needed to hear. This past weeked I found the words to say and he wishes to start attending church to see what all this "Jesus stuff" is about. It just amazes me how Jesus still works in lives yesterday, today, and everyday. Many people attend church and don't change, but the past few Sundays I have noticed a growing change in everyone present. Normally a few people just stand there, but the love of Christ must have been with him that he was singing, and it was subtle enough but it still shows that the seed that was planted in him is growing and coming through. It was just seeing God work in his life, which is enought to show me things in mine. He points out things that may not have been so clear a week ago and puts them in a different spotlight.
