The government should have control over guns for several reasons. First, many innocent people are dying. For example, in sandy hook elementary, most of the people killed were kids between the ages of five and ten years old. In addition, in aurora the theater, many people died while watching a movie. We are talking about a serious issue and this is why the government should take control over guns.
Another reason for gun control is kids get guns. This means that kids get ahold of guns easily. For example, kids find guns in their mom’s bedroom. Another reason for limiting guns is more violence means more people dead. I think that no one in this world should have a gun because this is happening repeatedly. Therefore, the government should take control over guns.
Finally, assault rifles are on the streets and can kill many at one time. For example, James Holmes had one and he killed many at one time. Assault rifles can be anywhere right now. Therefore, I think the government should take control over guns.
