I'm not an addict; I just think drugs should be legal.
"Drugs are bad" "Drugs should be illegal". That's all I see on here, sprinkled with the occasional pro-marijuana and pro-alcohol article. However, I believe that all illicit drugs should be legalized. I don't do any, but think about it: in the countries that have already legalized them, the crime rates have gone down. Also, there would be more room for real criminals in prison, such as murderers, rapists, and pedophiles. I definitely think that marijuana should be legalized. Alcohol and cigarettes are both legal, even though they are worse for you. I know people who do ecstasy and LSD who are some of the most brilliant and intelligent people I know. I also, however, know some stupid people that do ecstasy because it's "cool" and "mature". Those kinds of users can be cut down if it's legalized, because the feeling of rebellion will be diminished.
