Modern Day Monster
There are many monsters in the world. It can be an object, person, or a group. My modern day monster is the drug cartel. I recently learn about immigration in my history class, and smuggling drugs was one of the big issues. The cartel is a group that smuggles illegal drugs to the U.S. and other countries. The people in the group are greedy, all they want is money. But what is making the cartel a monster is that, not only is it illegal to smuggle drugs, they use innocent animals to smuggle drugs. They put the drugs in the animals and cross them across the border. This is a hazard to the animals because the drug containers can bust and the animal will die, and they will not care.
