Summary:
Eren Cale and her partner, a male or female companion chosen for each other at birth, Emory Morgan are about to go through the hardest challenge they will ever face, The Trial. In their perfect society, everyone is taught to love and respect one another. In this world, hate does not exist. However to maintain this life of peace and joy, every graduating class, at the age of eighteen, must pass The Trial. The Trial will test the bonds the students share, and will ultimately either break or strengthen the loyalties the students have for each other. They will learn either why it is we must love or truly know what it means to hate.
