My Life Upside Down
Summary:
My name is Emma and I am thirteen years old. For many years I have been suffering from Anorexia Nervosa, A chronic Illness that does not yet have a cure. Anorexia Nervosa is a disease that one out of ten girls gets and 1 out of one hundred boys get. The population of people with an eating disorder gets worse and worse every year. It’s our generation to stop it, so if you see someone with the symptoms of an eating disorder, call someone, immediately.
I have written this story of past diary entries that I found lying in my room for people like you to get an idea of what happens when someone has an eating disorder. I would also like to get my voice out there in this immense and diverse world. I would like to share my story with many clueless women, men, and parents who would like to help their daughter or son with an eating disorder.
