I'm Sorry, Mom
You said it was my fault you had a cigarrette yesterday. I say of course, everything is my fault. I stand up. You grab my arm and tell me to sit. I sit. You yell at me for speaking my mind. You tell me I'm starting s*** again. I say I'm not. Because I'm not. You stand up, say f*** you too. Like I had said it first. I didn't say anything. yesterday you said I was starting s*** again also. You yell at me for helping a friend pass a class. I sit there wanting to tell you that I'm sorry for being a bad child. I'm sorry for not being good enough. I'm sorry for messing everything up. I'm sorry. I'm sorry I let you down. I'm sorry I'm not the child you wished I was. I'm sorry I make mistakes. I'm sorry for everything. I'm sorry you don't think I love you enough.
