When I Grow Up...
Gather a group of kindergartners, and ask them, "what do you want to be when you grow up?" Their responses? Fireman, police officer, and doctor will be among the more popular choices. Why? You see, despite the current trends that we observe in the news, humanity is not inherently evil. We are not born seeking to harm our fellow man, we are not born hating our brother born in a foreign land. We have no concept or race, nationality, religion, or political beliefs. When we are born, and into our early childhoods, we have no overt desire to harm others, but instead we seek to help. We wish to be policemen, firefighters, and doctors. We seek to protect and heal, instead of destroy and harm.
