I love you.
I love it when we are together. I love it when I lay in your lap and you lean down to kiss my forehead. When we kiss, I love that I can feel your heart beat quicken beneath my hand. I even love that sometimes we kiss for so long that our lips chap. At the end of the day when you have to leave, I love that your smell lingers on my skin. I love that when you see the scars that mar my skin, you don't yell or scold, but instead grab me and hold me, but I hate that those ugly red marks worry you. I love our late night conversations that last until the early morning hours. I love how you make me smile so much that it makes my muscles sore. I love how you make me happy enough to write a poem about love, but most of all, I love you.
