Right.
Wrong.
I thought adults were supposed to know the difference.
Apparently not.
I know I was taught to return the wallet on the street
and to give money to the homeless man on Acorn Road.

Apparently not.
Kids make mistakes, right?
Especially teenagers.
We're allowed to get mad and to yell at someone who doesn't deserve it and to overreact.
But adults. No.
They control themselves.
So I thought.
Apparently not.
Not today at least. Not yesterday.
Or the day before.

I was the adult.
They lost all control and got mad and yelled at someone who didn't deserve it.
Me.
And you know what?
They didn't even say sorry.
I thought everyone was taught that.
Apparently not.
