The List
I told a girl I barely know that I got accepted to four different schools just to impress her.
My friends think I have three brothers. I have one.
I haven’t told my parents that I love them in over five years. But I tell my friends daily.
I told my gym teacher that I have asthma so I wouldn’t have to run the mile.
I lie to my parents about being sick, a lot.
My grades suck, but my report card says straight A’s.
I told my brothers navyal recruiter that he changed his mind because I didn’t want him to leave.
A boy I went to school with thinks I live in a mansion in the rich part of town.
The person I hated in elementary school thinks I live in Nebraska.
I lied to my friends about moving.
I promised a friend I would tell anyone she liked a girl. I told the person she likes about it.
I tell people I’m straight, but I’m bi-curious.
I almost got my brother arrested for sexual assault.
I have told more lies than I can count. I try to stop, but I can’t. I don’t have a problem.
One more lie to the list.
