Playing With My Heart
Those days all you do is talk about her, I want to talk about us. The times when you ask me for advice, I can’t wait to change the subject. I can’t stand the way you talk about her but I know we will never be together. I play the role of a friend and still can’t seem to put my emotions aside. Every time you mention her name, my heart shatters. I think about the possibilities of us and all I see are roadblocks. I know you like her and I’m sure she likes you. But why can’t you see what is right in front of you? Not only do you play with my mind, you play with my heart.
