When do I say I?
I say I when I'm telling a story. I say I when I'm referencing something that I did. I say I when I'm recognizing my achievements. I say I when I've won. I say I when I was the leader. I say I when I'm talking about myself.
"One time I was walking..." I start.
"I wrote that," I smile.
"I won that game," I tease.
I say we when it's more personal. I say we when I haven't done what I know is right. I say we when I've messed up. I say we when I don't want the blame. I say we when I am too embarrassed to admit to my own emotions. I say we when I'm talking about how I feel.
"We will miss you," I say. But I mean, "I will miss you."
"We love you," I shout casually. But I mean, "I love you."
"We're all so confused!" I cry. But I mean, "I'm confused."
