Breakup
A 17-year-old girl looked at her mom in tears. A boy broke her heart, trying to get free, while her father raged with anger because of him. On Monday, the girl lost hope that she wasn’t good enough. On Tuesday, her parents were lost and out of advice on how to help their little girl. On Friday, the tears of her and her mother hit the tissue in their hands… one week passed and the girl got over the heartbreak and started healing. Her friends and family wrapped their arms around her, giving her the biggest squeezes. Monday, she went to school with her head held high. Wednesday, she realized her worth and cried with her mom again as the realization of the abuse and manipulation within the relationship was overpowering. Another week, and the girl's confidence, sparkled in her eyes, and her glow began to come back. Monday again, and the girl and her parents are smiling and laughing again while eating dinner at the kitchen counter.
