What Freedom Means To Me
Freedom can be see all over. It’s a family sitting around a campfire roasting marshmallows and singing songs as fireflies light up the yard, it’s an American flag flying high on a cedar fence post. Freedom is something taken for granted, too often people forget why we have freedom. It’s because of American men and women who lay down their lives for the red, white and blue. And every year on the 4th of July when families and friends comes together to celebrate with food and fireworks it’s something more people realise and causes them to think about it and not take it for granted.
Freedom is being able to buy whatever you wish whether it be a car, a truck, a boat, a house. Freedom is being able to stand up for yourself and being able to fight for our country without being forced to. People all over the world are fighting and dieing in order for their freedom and we are luck enough here in the U.S. that we don’t don’t have to, that we can all sleep in peace at night. And there's something we all have to remember, Freedom isn’t free.
