Number on a Scale
The writing titled “Numbers on a Scale’” written by Jenny N. talks about weight. Her writing left me feeling shocked. When the article said, “Didn't expect to be called overweight as soon as I stepped into my aunt's house.” I was shocked because who tells their daughter she is overweight after not seeing them for four years. Through the whole article the emotion that was going through my mind was surprised. When the article said, “instead they focused on my weight.” I disagree with that text because you should not focus on someone's weight, but you should focus on their personality. Something that I thought was funny for a second was “when I replied that I was a size zero she threw her head back and scoffed loudly as if I had told her the funniest joke in the world.”
