Review of "Is Band a Sport?"
The writing titled “Is Marching Band a Sport?” written by Avery J. was very truthful. It’s about the hard work that marching band members have to endure, and this made me happy knowing that other people agree that band is a sport. I agree with Avery on several things in this writing. The one statement I agree with the most is “They fail to notice that we work just as hard as other athletes.” I also agree with the statement that says, “We show up and work hard to do what we love, even if we don’t get the recognition that we deserve.” I do, in fact, see this kind of thing in my hometown. In fact, several of my classmates believe that band members don’t work hard and that playing an instrument is easy. This argument is well supported with facts like how “Band members get up early and stay up late.” As a fellow band member, I am happy to see another person telling people the truth of hard band members work.
