Where I'm From
In “Where I’m From” by Vilituituu V., he describes how he lives in a place called North Hayward. A place where death is not racist as he describes also being a place where the police are corrupt. “What I did not realize was that the drop rate was higher than the graduation rate at their high school. I believe it is very sad to imagine how he describes that where death by the gun is common and how where the struggle started is also where all his memories will stay. I think it is very interesting how he describes that there is no freedom. “Vilituituu describes,” that I’m from where the red white and blue flashing behind you is not the meaning of freedom.
