How I Became a Cross-Country Runner
I feel Marry D did a great job in writing “How I Became a Cross-Country Runner”. In the October edition of Teen Ink . In the story she talks about how scared she is going into high school, she is told how mean the seniors are. Marry decides to do track and she finds that the seniors are really nice and a big help
I feel like this is a real helpful piece for kids like me going into high school. There is one thing that I don’t understand about the article, it’s that the story is about how she became a track runner but the title of the story is “How I Became a Cross-Country Runner”. The picture in the article is also about cross-country so that was the only problem that I had with the story. Otherwise this was a great article that really helped me because I am going to be in high school next year and I am really scared about it. I think Marry did a great job with this Sports article.
