Disease
Laying in bed, Marissa pondered over the days occurrences. It had felt like a horrid dream, receiving the call informing her of her father's decease. She knew it would happen sooner or later, as he had been suffering from severe bouts of sickness. Luckily he had gone in his sleep, as peacefully as possible, but she had no idea how she would cope the oncoming days, after the effects of shock wore off. Sighing, she rolled onto her side and closed her green eyes, wondering if it was truly a dream after all.
