Who Told You I Was Finally Happy?
I sing and dance around in my living room on a warm spring day. I feel my beaming smile as I keep on not having a care in the world for just a moment. Just a moment. The song ends and I finally look down at my phone. My heart stops. There's a message from you.
I immediately sober up and read it. "Will you forgive me?" it reads.
My heart pulls and yearns for you, though its sporting the scars you put on it. Just like old times.
I take a seat and, with my eyes stinging, I call you one last time.
