The past is the past. I realize now that what used to be will no longer stand. History may repeat, but nothing will be the same.
What’s done is done. I forgive those who have crossed boundaries, those who have forsaken me, and have broken trust. The sting of betrayal may be sharp, but the coolness of repentance is awe-inspiring because it means salvation.
No one will understand the change that has befallen this generation. We have a stronger faith in God than all the years before us have ever witnessed. The trials we face set the stage for all the glory we will receive and give in heaven. As I lay my head down, one paradoxical thought strikes me:
We could have everything this world has to offer, but have NOTHING if we have no faith in Christ Jesus.
