Maybe it wasn’t that easy after all.
To slowly let the wounds heal themselves and seal them with peppered kisses of the ghosts that left us and the crystalline salt from the kitchen cabinet, because the ragged flesh around that slender pink curve looks so imposing, and when I move in the slightest, it tears open again, and I am broken, broken again.
