The name nathan is a religious name, meaning ‘gift from god’ in Hebrew. My name feels like its light and airy, possibly with a tint of blue, but when spoken it tasted like a mouthful of pennies, very metallic and not so much smooth and flowy.

I’m not so sure if my parents knew that before they named me that, but it definitely doesn't fit how i am. i'm not really a ‘good’ child, and i have messed up in my past. something gift from god would never do.

My mother gave it to me. She fought with my dad about what my name would be. i have only two possibly names, Samantha Marrie, which sounds elegant, thin and airy, and Nathan Scott, very heavy and foul tasting.

Many people try to change my name to “nate” but that name has a gross feeling, something sharp and painful, it tastes sour and spoiled. i get mad when people call me nate, because it’s not my name.

i’m pretty contempt with my name. i can’t think of any other name i would be, because mine fits me so perfectly. because i’m a pretty laid back person. but i can strike hard if need be.
