Megalithic Symphony by AWOLNation
Megalithic Symphony
AWOLNation’s second album came with great success. It falls into the alternative rock category, but you can see some strands of the modern pop culture. The songs suggest rebelling, almost as if to go A.W.O.L.
A favorite to most and recognized by even more, the track “Sail” has seen great success. It has a slow simple yet highly memorable tune. When this track is in your head you are happy it’s there.
After listening to the track “Kill Your Hero’s” you are thrown into a rebellious attitude. The song suggest going away from the mainstream view, that heroes are perfect, and getting rid of them so they can’t let you down. This shows that the biggest thing in the world you can rely on is yourself.
The song “Not Your Fault” sags of the original tune. It is not a bad song, but compared to others it falls short. It is repetitive in saying, “I’m sorry.” The album itself embraces the alternative side to rock and hits it dead on.
Overall the album deserves 9/10 notes. It has creative initiative in bring the rebellious side out of anyone. It is just one great album.
