The Crossover by Kwame Alxeander
Basketball. Family problems. Middle school problems. Two teenagers having that basic middle school life with typical sibling quarrels is how Kwame Alexander wraps readers around poetry in his Newberry and Coretta Scott King Awarded novel!
This book is called The Crossover and its about two teenagers named josh and jordan going through that middle school life and family problems while they're playing basketball.
The authors style about this book is having good situations turning into bad problems.I think this style is phenomenal especially, how it fits for a basketball topic book.
My point of view of the book is two twin brothers having problems with their family life and middle school and basketball. My point of view impacts the story and myself by having me really thinking about the stuff that happens in the book and the stuff that happens in real life .
My rating for this book is 5 star because it really relates to the stuff in real life of what people are going threw in today’s world.
The theme of this book if trust in your family and don’t let nobody control.
