Josh “Filthy Mcnasty”,and Jordan “JB” Bell are the sons of former Nba player Chuck “Da Man”Bell  ,most of the book is during the basketball season,Josh is the starting forward and Jordan plays shooting guard, and they are usually playing basketball because that is just who they are.

In the book Josh is the best basketball player on his middle school basketball team at Reggie Lewis junior High,a lot lot of life's problems try to sidetrack him along the way but even through all of that he kept on doing what he needed to do on the court, even if his twin brother “JB” gets stuck on “Miss Sweet Tea”,he tries not to let that bother him.In a game Filthy throws a ball a jordans face and later get cut from the team, during his time out he was really forced to stop and think about who Josh Bell really is and what he is without Basketball, and through this his brother

Jordan wouldn’t even talk to him so that is when he realizes he has a lot more depth than he thought he did. When josh finally gets back for the Playoffs his father Chuck has a fatal Heart Attack and tragically dies, but he only uses this as motivation to move on and make him proud.I Recommend this book to anyone who is going through a rough patch in life because it will help because when you read this you will realize that it is ok and you should push through the problem anyway.
