This Lullaby
Sarah Dessen, the author of The Truth About Forever and That Summer wrote This Lullaby. This Lullaby is a fiction novel based on a lonely teenage girl who just graduates high school. Remy, now a freshmen in college is caught up in a broken relationship with her boyfriend, her brother's engagement to a girl she cannot tolerate, and her mother's sixth marriage plans.
As Remy works as a secretary and gets ready for her first year in college, she meets a boy, Dexter. Dexter is everything she promised herself she would not date; sloppy, disorganized, messy and a musician. Remy cannot even stand being near him, but soon falls in love with him as summer passes by. Remy finds herself through fights, memories, and love. This captivating novel shows how love really does find its way through.
