The Outsiders
Book Review
Why can’t everyone get along and be friends? Do you get along with everyone? That is what Pony boy wanted everyone to get along and not have to be judged by if there a greaser or a soc or who and where they came from. He knows if he can change the greasers and socs thoughts, there town will become a better place for people to live in. Pony boy get in more trouble than he bargained for.
When Pony boy goes on with the greasers he runs into a girl who is a soc who he really likes, but they know they can’t be together. Pony boy then knows that they have to come together. Has they go on sneaking around to see each other they soon realize that they can never talk to each other again. Though he does not like that but it’s for his best bet if he wants to quit getting beat up. One day it goes a little too far when the socs attack Pony boy and his friend. The socs where drunk and almost killed Pony boy if it wasn’t for his friend killing one of them. They knew they had to skip town that night, because if they got caught they could go to jail. Will Pony boy and his friend not get caught and bring the socs and the greasers together, or will they get caught and go to jail and the feud go on forever?
If you like action and suspense the Outsiders by S.E Hinton is your book. Some parts of the book are a little calm if you know what I mean.
I would give this book a 5/5 star rating because someone could relate to this. I hate book where you can’t relate to the story which I think everyone does in a way. So from that being said I would recommend that you either buy or borrow this book from somebody and read it, because it is really good. Also what makes it incredible is that the author is a female and she writes the story in a male’s point of view.
