The Darkest Hour by Erin Hunter
Book Review Outline
Book title and author: The Darkest Hour By Erin Hunter
Title of review: Darkest Hour
Number of stars (1 to 5): 4
Introduction
Imagine having an enemy that would do anything to control where you live. The forest was in danger and Firestar was the only one who could save it. Erin Hunter intended to write the book to entertain the reader. I know that Firestar did the right thing against his enemies.
Description and summary of main points
Firestar had to save the forest and ThunderClan from the ShadowClan leader by the name of Tigerstar. Before Firestar’s first Gathering as a leader, Tigerstar and Leopardstar, the RiverClan leader, had joined together to make TigerClan which Tigerstar was leader of. What Firestar didn’t know for a while was that Tigerstar had gotten together the cats from BloodClan to help him against LionClan which was ThunderClan and WindClan combined and in the battle with BloodClan all four clans combined with Firestar as the leader.
Evaluation
In my opinion, the book was real exciting. It gave me the feel that I couldn’t stop reading until the end. The book was scary in my opinion in some areas but it was really exciting.
Conclusion
So as you can see, I think Firestar had a right to attack his enemies the way he did. He had to protect the forest from Tigerstar, the leader of ShadowClan. When Tigerstar and the RiverClan leader Leopardstar joined to make TigerClan, Firestar had a whole new view of things. My evaluation had to be that the book was a little scary and it gave me the feeling to not stop reading it.
