Love, Aubrey by Suzanne Lafleur
Love, Aubrey by Suzanne Lafleur is a Realistic Fiction book that is sure to tug at your heart strings. 11 year old Aubrey moves to Vermont after her mom leaves her. When Aubrey moves in with her Grandma or as she calls her Gram she becomes best friends with the girl next door, Bridget. This book is about Aubrey's struggles and how she copes with her new life with Gram.
The first couple chapters are slow, but after you get past that it's a real page turner because I was so interested to find out how Aubrey would solve all of her problems. Also, this story tells you a lot about her life before she lives with Gram. Other books like this one is Bounce. If you read Bounce and liked it this is the story for you. Suzanne Lafleur has also written Eight Keys.
