Over the past month, I’ve recently read a book called the Gunslinger made by Stephen King, a man known for horror books like IT, Cujo, and The Shining. The Gunslinger is apart of a 3 book series called the Dark tower, which is about a man named Roland Deschain who wants to find a being called “The Man in Black”. Whilst doing this, he has to balance out his actions while also befriending a boy named Jake.

I liked two things about the book.For one, I liked how Stephen King moved on from one genre into another genre. Mostly because Stephen King’s forte isn’t writing Western Fiction type books. He went out of his comfort zone to produce something of amazing value, thats what makes this respectable.

Secondary part I liked about this book was the fact Stephen King made multiple parts to this interesting story, so we will never be bored. Continuation of a good story makes the crowd even more interested in the main story itself. That’s why it’s great that Stephen made multiple parts of the story.

I’d also recommend this book to multiple people.
