The writing titled “My Life in Color,” written by Summer O’Dwyer, talks about color blindness. Her writing left me feeling sad but happy in the end.  Summer’s writing was also eye opening. She writes, “After many hours working at my local ice cream shop, as well as being drooled on by the plethora of children I babysat.” This shows that really worked hard to get the new glasses that would help her color blindness. Once she put the glasses on, she said, “When I opened my eyes they filled with tears.” She cried in happiness because she could finally see red and green. She was so happy she finally found a pair of glasses to let her see. She went through many pair of glasses and worked hard and all of that paid off.
