"Youth Lack Life Skills" Review
I would definitely agree with what the author is saying in this article. When you walk through a high school, yes you see kids hard at work studying different academics used later on in life. But what we do not realize are those skills being taught is not what will benefit later on in life. I can relate to what the author is saying because I can see where the author is coming from. Like the author said, “Now imagine giving high school students needles, thread, and buttons.” Not many students would have a clue what to do with them and the same goes for me I would not know what exactly I needed to do with them. As the years go past this problem is becoming more wide spread, kids everywhere will start to lack life skills needed later in life. Who knows where our generation could be in the next few years, but I hope that we realize this problem soon and do something about it.
