Response to "She's Only Five"
In the November 2013 issue of Teen Ink, Alicia Gonzales article “She’s Only Five” really saddened me. Living in a small community without much homelessness, we don’t realize what life is like for people, especially kids, who don’t have a home. We also don’t realize how many people are actually homeless. Leaving a young child like Natalia’s mom did is an awful thing to do. Natalia is too young to really understand, but she knows that life can be different. Considering that she is only five, she is handling the situation she is in very well, and is stronger than what someone older may be in the same situation
