Response to "Words and Numbers"
This passage makes me think of my best friend/boyfriend. He has difficulty in math, which is why I am his tutor. However, he has a wild imagination. The stories and dilemmas he can come up with are awe-inspiring. He is also an avid book-reader. We read many of the same books: medieval, fantasies, dystopias, science fiction. He is not particular on what book he reads as long as he has someone to talk to about his theories about it. He isn’t always correct, but sometimes his theories are better than the ending itself.
